The Unix lab is equipped with a large number of Sun Workstations as well as one Multiprocessor Server. In this lab students learn the principles of Unix operating systems. Furthermore, the server is used to tech students the programming of supercomputers and networked systems. Finally this labs enables the students to gain experience in the design of very large-scale integrated circuits.
